Where I Started
I've always loved words, so writing was a natural choice for me. I've written for a newspaper, a communications team and a nonprofit. I hold a bachelor's degree in mass communication with a minor in psychology, plus an associate's in psychology. Together, they taught me why people make decisions and how to reach them.
Why Copywriting
Along the way, I realized what I enjoy most is pairing the psychology behind people’s decisions with words that persuade them to respond. Copywriting pulls my whole background together into one career I love. And the best part? I get to help businesses turn readers into clients.
My style
I start with research. Reading reviews, your competitors and the industry. Then we talk through your brand, voice, goals and target audience for the project. I write the way people actually talk, creating copy that is clear, warm and direct. Every piece has one job and that’s getting your reader to take the next step.
